Overview
Remote Update Control is an ActiveX component that adds the "check for updates" feature into your applications, in a very easy and quick mean. In minutes, you can let your application more powerful with the use of this technology. Your customers then will can get the patches and upgrades of your applications automatically, and you no longer needs to dispend time writing and sending update notifications for all your customers, or even sending the update packages for each user in the world. The only thing needed is to make the application's update package available in your web site, then all users can check for the availability, download it and run it automatically.

How this works?
It's simply! First of all, you create a notification file*, that contains all the necessary information about the update. This is made using the Remote Update File Maker* tool - included in the Remote Update software package. Then you uploads both, the notification file and the update package* to your web site. Done! Now, all your users can get the most recent version of your software application, automatically or "manually" checking for updates!
